    It's all so boringly predictable.

    Send inappropriate messages
    Get found out
    Deny it all
    Hint at taking legal action
    Get PR advice
Sell your story, minimising your actions
Do an almost grovelling public apology
Say 'it's not who I am' or some such nonsense
    Say you're getting therapy

It's only a matter of time until he's back saying professional help had helped him to 'move forward as a better person' and he's going to 'be better in future'.

Oh dear, unfortunately that's the state of Britain these days, everyones offended by something or someone!!!
Well it seems that wasn't what he did. Typical BBC presenter, must be written in the contract!!!!

Yep, it’s the classic “scramble to save career” PR move as trademarked by Max Clifford. You only missed out the playing of the family card (“I’ve let my wife and children down”) for the full set.

He's also saying that he's let everyone down. Well he hasn't let me down. And, as someone has already mentioned he's saved us from watching him demonstrate his ability to read from an autocue and add absolutely nothing to the common weal.

I am confused by the “consenting adults” bit.
    Doesn’t sound “consenting” to me.

Exactly what I thought. He's just picking out random words suggested by his PR agency - To be fair (hoping he hasn't patented the phrase) a bit like his MotD summarising

I'm no fan of Stan Collymore, but his autobiography 'Tackling My Demons' was a far more intriguing read than most ex-footballers' life stories, and in the chapter where he covers being caught 'dogging' he makes the point that a lot of the people in the media and the celebrity business were in no position to be judgemental because they were far from squeaky clean themselves.

Jermaine Jenas has been caught out and he'll have to accept the consequences for himself and his career, but it does remind me of Stan's observation that plenty of the folks commenting on the story - particularly in the media - have a pretty insecure footing on the moral high ground.

I'm confused by "I did 100% wrong but didn't do anything wrong" unless I heard wrong
