On Congestion, yes its a part of life, but should it really be? Had to be around Glasgow around rush hour too often and dont see it as too bad. But for certain parts of the Kingsway, its clogging at weird times and Campy will just add to that. Should have by-passed the Kingsway years ago!

For big weekend, there was a park n ride from Riverside so that mitigated some of the access issues.
The airport had to give the okay for the use of floodlighting, which they did some time ago.

On congestion, we could look closer to home. McDiarmid. It has three routes in and out. One straight onto the a9. It copes fairly well. I'd even hazard a guess that more cars park within the official car park than will at Nou Campy.

Yes I did stick up for ST but don't think those are comparable really, for all he messed things from the tim two fiasco upto that point he's done an excellent job and had a successful 6 years post Eddie so my rationale was valid but he sold us down the river and cost the club for years

If i was a member of the Dee Fan Group i would be asking lots of questions regarding how much rent will the club have to pay and can the owners use it willy nilly for concerts etc ruining the pitch in the process whenever they please?.That is why i am not jealous in the slightest at the prospect of DFC having a shiny new stadium to play in.The FACT is they don't own even one brick of the development and they never will.

The nightmare scenario for us is if Ogren decides he wants to copy his American counterparts and decides we are also moving in and he sells Tannadice to get his money back.If this project fails that is the one and only reason i'd be happy.
Aye £95m will be the whole development. Dundee's contribution is supposed to be around £30M. They're currently paying £700K a year to keep Dens open, so put it like that, a 50 year lease would cover their costs.

With regards concerts ruining the pitch, that doesn't generally happen. Concerts are put on during the summer months between the seasons end and the renovation process. There are plenty of ways to protect pitches these days aswell.
