Don’t need a right back and got plenty of cover in midfield.

Well there's only Grant McCann that seems to have got a consistent tune out of Wilks , a loan spell at Donny was very productive in McCann's first spell at Rovers and he then bought him off us when he took over at Hull City and had a prolific season when Hull won the league one championship .

Wilks probably should have played at a consistent higher level in my opinion because he's got the footballing talent , the head is a different matter mind .

He comes from a very troubled family growing up in Leeds , he witnessed his brother getting murdered over a drug deal that went wrong when he was a kid .

Whilst at Leeds United he was part of a group that stabbed a young lad to death at the Leeds carnival and stood trial although he was found not guilty after a lengthy trial .

It might go someway to explain why he's a difficult player to manage despite his talent .

I was gutted we couldn't get a consistent tune out of him at Oakwell , that performance from Wilks on the opening day of the season against a very good Fulham team was something I'll never forget , he was bloody brilliant that day , pace , power and the ability to go past people .

    Oh well .

Comms said at the time that if an offending player is booked or red carded the injured player does not have to go off for 30 seconds.

Yeah I’m aware of the Leeds stabbing , also I didn’t know Barnsley paid 1.1 million for him too until yesterday.

Only got one right back & he's injured! Whose the attacking midfielder?

I don’t see this route one commentary. It’s pretty quick transition but route one is long to the centre forward and flick ons etc. there was a little bit of that but it’s not the only way we played.

It's a long time to January. Are you going to mention this too then. Even if we win every game?

For the last time, the first choice right back isn’t a long term injury or we would have signed a replacement . Got cover there for the short term . We also got plenty of attacking options in Midfield with Powell, Hungbo ,Wilks Holmes . 👍 .
