Watched the highlights again this morning and that felt like a real Jimmy T performance. We had a game plan and executed it pretty well. If our shooting boots had been properly laced up we?d have taken at least one point. I suspect in terms of shots on target, XG, etc. the Celtic stats from last night would be way down on the norm.
Which is not at all to gloss over the weaknesses in the team. But if (if) we get back on track and pick up 6 points from the next two matches then the recent patch will feel like a blip.
It?s very clear how we?re supposed to play. The players seem to be generally executing it well, and when the likes of McGarry are called on and perform like that, then you can see they?re well coached.
It was great to see Polvara back and thought he played a couple of great passes and showed what he can bring.
An irritating result but a lot of positives to take from the performance.
