I have a heck of a lot going on in my personal life and things are really difficult and heart breaking right now. I've taken a lot of hits and suffered a great deal of emotional stress and turmoil in recent months.

I suffer great anxiety in terms of social gatherings, especially with what has occurred in recent times in my private life. Leaving the house is extremely difficult with what I'm going through for instance and is just one of many drawbacks im in the process of trying to overcome. Going to work takes up all my mental strength right now and I have a heck of a lot to try and come to terms with.

You'll have to bear with me gents I'm afraid, but things will get better once certain things in my life have been finalised and i can move on. I can't go into detail but it's extremely tough to cope with right now. I know you both will respect that cos over the years, I sense that you're very decent and sincere blowks, especially with your comments and contributions on this message board over the years.

I'm gonna take in some games on TV and see if it captures me. I know Animal said there's no substitute for going to games but that is just beyond me at present.

I've taken in both League and Union since childhood in fits and spats, and I must say that RL is the one that I prefer as Union seems far more unsophisticated, although the International RU gets me out of my chair also. Especially the WC semi final victory against the All Blacks in recent years. That was absolutely epic. Shame we couldn't follow it up with a victory in the final against the Spingboks. Is that classed as sacrilege to admire both? I don't yet quite understand the etiquette as you can tell!

Thanks again for your courtesy fellas. I hope your wife makes a healthy recovery Animal and thanks very much for the link Chops.

I'll take in a game if I can get the dibs on our TV!

    Betfred Super League Round 9

Catalan Dragons 24-20 Wakefield Trinity ( Golden Point )

A tough one to take this evening in the South of France , we led 18-8 at halftime after scoring 3 scintillating tries , the 3rd was try of the season contender .

Second half Catalan came out a different beast and coupled with our poor discipline got on top , poor discipline in Rugby League kills you and gifts the opposition easy metres .

Catalan scored two second half tries off the back of penalties we handed them , this is what happens at the highest level and these are tough lessons for our younger players who are finding their way in Super League .

There is no excuse for a player of Mason Lino's experience who got himself sin binned during Golden Point with a head shot .

Catalan then won the game off the back of that error with the game tied up at 20-20 .

    Frustrating evening .

We are doing OK Animal, as I keep saying just back into Super League after a year in the Championship.

Definitely a work in progress team and therefore can be a frustrating watch at times.

Missing Trueman and Russell does not help and again leaves Lino with too much to do on his own, as been the case for the last 3-4 seasons. Jowitt is a temporary fix at 6 but he is not a natural half back in my opinion. Did he do any in play tactical kicking? Did he make any line breaks? the answer is no.

The Smoothy signing will bring more skill and quality to the team next season, but we need a class half back, center and winger signing up, easier said than done.

Injuries also played it's part and not getting any better with another 2 crocked from the Catalans game.

Hull KR and Wigan to me the form teams and that also has to be partly down to the few injuries they have experienced, separate of course to their talented squads they have.

My slight concern is that we seem to have lost 5-10% of our aggression in the last few games. Also against Catalans far too many tacklers going waist high so not just resulting in too many penalties but also allowing the big lads to use their full leg power making good yards in the tackle.

I would not be surprised if Cas beat us this weekend up at St James park unless we show up for the full 80 mins.

    Magic Weekend Round 10

    Castleford Tigers 8-32 Wakefield Trinity

Best 80 minutes we've put together this season , we've had some good spells in many games but that's the first time we've put it together from start to finish .

No better game than to do it in against that lot down the road and they were beaten good and proper , we were way too quick for Cas in every aspect of the game .

Chuffed to bits with that , having a few beers on the strength of it .

I enjoyed watching that! Very good entertainment. Wakey laiked some very good stuff and scored some excellent tries, notably the last one which was a quite outstanding burst of power fitness and speed from a blowk who I'm guessing probably weighs over 18 stone. Walmsey has that classic look of an annoying Aussie who gets right up your nose if you support the opposition!

Glad you enjoyed it Pass , I spoke to Lachlan Walmsley after a game last season for 5 minutes or so and he's a really humble kid , he's come up the hard way in Rugby League , came over from Australia to play for Whitehaven then Halifax in the championship and we signed him last season from Fax .

He's found the step up to Super League difficult but today I think he found his feet , he's always going to finish tries but you need way more than that as a winger in Super League , you have to be defensively sound , catching the ball under pressure and doing the hard yards inside your own 20 metre line .

There's some hugely talented lads at Trinity and in years gone by we've have lost them to other club's by now but because of Matt Ellis funding we can keep them at the club .

Best times at Trinity in my lifetime ( 43 years ) , the club is bouncing , what Matt Ellis has done for this club is hugely impressive both on and off the field , having finance is one thing but you still have to get the big decisions right and he has .

    Betfred Super League Round 11

    Wakefield Trinity 40-10 Warrington Wolves

These afternoons are golden times for us long suffering Trinity fans , Warrington are one of the bigger club's in Super League and already through to yet another Challenge Cup Final next month at Wembley .

Trinity were simply irresistible and put Warrington to the sword playing some supreme Rugby League and scored 7 tries .

Wonderful afternoon , dare I say we could be involved in the post season play offs which would be incredible for a newly promoted team back in Super League after a season in the championship .

    I reckon it's on .
