Well where do we go from here??

From being the talk of British football after the first few months for all the right reasons we're now the talk of British football for all the wrong reasons and lets be honest, this isn't the first time in recent years we have been on such runs, especially around this time of year.

Usually I would be screaming for the manager to get his jotters but I'm going to change tact, I'm going to say Jimmy to stay BUT he needs serious funds, and I really do mean SERIOUS amounts of money in this window and the summer one to weed out the players that have been a part of so many results and runs such as the one we're on, they're the common denominator.

That means Devlin gone, Mackenzie gone, Shinnie gone, Duk gone, Sokler gone, MacDonald gone, Clarkson gone, McGrath gone. Throw in some newer recruits such as Ambrose & Nisbet and you're looking at a complete squad overhaul.

We've tried chopping and changing managers and it gets an initial boost but reality sets in for these players and they down tools and show how bad they really are before too long, we can be thankful this time we are in such a high position before the rot set in.

Over to you Cormack et al, do you truly believe in Jimmy or was it all talk!

Any style of play and identity that JT had us playing with at the start of the season has now vanished and we are now at the Warnock stage again. Players that are incapable of playing the way he wants and a manager that cannot adapt to use what he has. Leven had it figured out.

I am confident JT is the man for us with the right players but he must learn to be flexible and get the best out of the "tools" he has at his disposal or he won't get that chance.

Devlin back to last seasons pish form and why so many people thought MacDonald was the second coming of Alex McLeish is beyond me.

We signed the guy because he couldn?t get a game for Swindon Town which should tell you everything you need to know.

I could go on through the whole squad but unfortunately we are never getting shot of all of them at once.

Cormack needs to seriously back Thelin this month or we are in danger of dropping into the bottom 6 or worse.

What a day to have over 10 minutes extra in the first half.

I'll go against the grain here and say I thought we were better looking in the final third today.

Their first goal was a peach and you would have clapped if it hadn't been against our own team.

When we got it back to one all I honestly expected us to then go onto win. Horrible thing was having that great chance that their keeper saved not long before their second.

Can't agree more about the fannying about at the back.
Great if you're Man City or Barcelona, paying sqillions for the best players to make it work, but never gonna happen with Gus MacDonald at the back.

Whilst the players are to take criticism, the manager has to accept it tio by allowing us to play the same way, when it clearly isn't working.

I seriously hope that there are significant signings lined up this window, not the best opportunity but this needs addressed now, not in the summer months when we've already dropped out of Europe and scrape a top 6 finish (if we're lucky). Sticking plasters aren't going to work this time!

All the other teams know our style of play now and know exactly what our players are able to deliver on the park and can nullify them at ease it seems. If Jimmy is so devoted to how he wants to play then the players need changed. No amount of coaching is ever going to turn this group into what Jimmy wants them to be, they have shown that in a NINE game without a win run.

You just know it's going to be much of a muchness against Motherwell with Nilsen and Shinnie in the middle, Rubi and Gav in the back with Devlin and Mackenzie either side. Nisbet will be up top as Sokler probably injured with Topi left and Duk right with Doohan in goals and Clarkson or McGrath in there too.

Expect the same rhetoric coming out about owing the fans etc etc in the coming days.

31 ponts from the first 11 games followed by 3 points from 9 games doesn't make any sense. Something must have happened to cause this epic collapse. Maybe there has been some sort of fight or argument be**** the manager and players. Or else the players really are just lazy bstards.

Next 3 games are Motherwell away Hearts at home then the Huns away before we play Elgin away in the Scottish Cup.

Cormack and co need to get the players in that Thelin wants because we are sleep walking our way into another Darvel nightmare when we have to play Elgin.
