The application form for this loan was signed and dated by John Nelms on 14th September 2023 on behalf of Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited over two weeks before the title deeds of the Dens Park Stadium were purchased from John Bennett on 3rd October 2023. (Source Companies House website).
At no point have I ever said I'm happy with John Nelms running Dundee FC but to say you'd prefer Scott Gardiner just shows you up for what you are - totally bat **** crazy stuff.

If I had the opportunity to buy a house for ?250,000 from party A knowing that party B was going to immediately give me a loan for ?750,000 with only that property being put up as guarantee can you guess what I'd do? Only difference being I'd default on the loan after a month and walk away with the half million and the lender could have the property.

    You are totally correct.
Yesterday evening (Monday) I was having another read of the letter that Nelms sent to the Dee4life board of directors on 7th December 2022 stating that the nomination of the Dee4life primary representative by the Dee4life board of directors was a hostile act which would be dealt with under the rules of the Club’s Articles of Incorporation.
He quoted the lies about the visit my wife and I had to the Club’s offices at Gardyne.
The letter is in the saved box of my iPad.

Guys like yourself, Forbes etc are why D4L are not welcomed by Nelms.
There's the customer's version of what happened, there's the company's version of what happened, and there's the truth which will not be exactly the same as either version, imo.

As I said, he shouldn’t have been wandering around club offices etc. He does nothing bar criticise everything about the Club. He’s been on Facebook today doing the same thing.

I was not wandering the club’s offices in Gardyne. My wife and I were given a tour of the offices by a Dundee Football Club member of staff who was a credit to club.

As I said, you should never have been allowed access.

If you were the MD of a business, would you allow arguably your biggest critic, and well known trouble maker, access to the your business’s offices etc?
The person that gave him access obviously didn’t know who he was, and how much hassle he has caused in the past.

Islay probably isn't deliberately telling lies but is probably giving a very one sided account. As has been said above by BCram there will be his version and Nelmsy's version - the truth will be somewhere in the middle.

BP33 is correct that the chances are that the poor employee that agreed to show Islay around will have had no idea who he was, most likely got a good earful from Nelmsy after it too. Islay is very much persona non grata at Dens (offices) and Gardyne due to his irrational hatred of Nelmsy and his persistent criticism of anything Dundee FC so really should have had the good sense not to ask for the tour around.

As for Nelmsy and lies - the less said the better but he will have had some reason or justification in sending the letter. Islay or anyone else might not agree with his reason or justification but there will have been some.
