The "Ginger" was a joke, I forgot about your humour bypass.
I never consigned Spuds to the Championship, show me where? They have quite a few talented players and missing a few. Unlike their 3 previous managers, Di Zerbi set them up to take into account that. As did DF shorn of his 2 wingbacks, he put in James for his first start in a while.
Your deflecting as usual... I said he's already surpassed your expectations, as you have written onhere you didn't expect us to get anything from this or the other 2 remaining fixtures ... "Spuds desperate to remain in the PL" you wrote...WRONG AGAIN
2 out of 3 get relegated each season for past 5 seasons yet you and Oz expect us to go toe to toe on the front foot with teams as a newly promoted club, with players missing..
I think you'll find in the PL most teams who win it have one of the biggest wages, (Leciester I don't think did but the so called big 6 just cherry picked their best players for more money. Bit like your beloved Wrexham, who bought their way up the leagues, now realising it get's very expensive from here on... maybe they will make another doc.... the club where the owners are more famous than the club itself lol
I have a very well-developed sense of humour, it helps when I “converse” here, but as to “deflecting” (what a stupid word to use), I’m deflecting absolutely nothing. What I actually wrote about the last three games was as follows:
“We might be safe, but what are the prospects of getting anything from any of the last three games”? A question, which no-one chose to answer, not even you.
Anyone thinks we weren’t fortunate to come away with anything last night was watching another game. As for Brighton, oh yeah we’ll walk that one, and if Spam get anything from Newcastle and Spuds don’t at Chelsea then the last game of the season could spell the drop for either, you think BOTH won’t be “desperate to stay in the PL”? (And you’re suggesting Spuds AREN’T desperate to stay in the PL, really? I’m wrong about that, you reckon?
As for Wrexham “buying their way up the leagues, just what do you expect EVERY club to do when funding is available? At least Wrexham made a fist of it this season, missing out on the division playoffs by one point, unlike Birmingham who have spent colossal amounts and finish 10th and way off playoff contention. The next series is released next Friday, you should take off the blinkers and watch (from the beginning of Series 1), it might just open your eyes, then again, maybe not.
really no need for any consistent written angst theme of disquieted discord as we are where we are with every player now playing for the shirt which surely all can acknowledge.
factually proven that emotionally stable individuals are less prone to negative emotions which i recall an eminent shrink also telling Totty once many moons ago, basic advice for her but true for everyone.
so if high levels of positive emotions and cheerfulness correlate with higher life satisfaction then suppose that explains why Farke wont suffer fools and indeed any whining from his players and possibly explains why my husband has shelled out nearly 5k from Brest airport following a Farke led Leeds squad this pl season, a footballing season in WTFs wording as having produced satisfaction levels to low to be measured within his eyes and ears, which i totally disagree with.
all folks satisfaction levels are deeply personal and indeed subjective purely acting as a measure of contentment based on an individuals unique perceptions, needs and values in life as what fulfills one person may not satisfy others admittedly and within football clubs the practicing of self compassion is directly linked to higher life satisfaction, increased joy and a greater sense of meaning which fosters positive social connections of which in all aspects Farke has created at our club damn well in my eyes and ears under so much 24/7 scrutiny from fans and media.
so maybe in following such examples this forum can now generate more posters if in Bremners words we also take time to think and put Side before Self before getting truculent by playing the devils advocate via a bias of polemical weekly scribing that this forum sadly now has a reputation for in continually declaring that those LUFC chickens will only come back to roost again if Farke stays in tenure.
in short, football coaches are paid to get results, not to be entertaining media personalities within a high stakes environment that punishes personality. Farke has achieved that objective of getting results on all counts in his modest manner with a group of players fully behind him and those that could not adapt where let go to chase their desires elsewhere.
but of course new ambitions and new targets must also now be set which applies to all LUFC management structure departments and their identified specific 26/27 remits set within financial regulations, so plenty to go at for those sharpening their pencils in anticipation of glee and woes to come no doubt from our beloved club.
MOT
It?s been as good a season performance and results wise as we could realistically have hoped for.
To be safe with three games to go so no end of season stress is a very un Leeds feeling.
For whatever this faults Farke has done what was asked of him and so have the players. Ampadu has shown he belongs at this level as have Struijk and Bijol. Bogle at times has been great and some of the other signings have been fantastic for us.
It will be an interesting summer for sure with plenty of ins and outs (such as Joffy, Meslier, Wober etc).
