The lack of panic at the back and the calmer ball out in my opinion has to have something to do with Butcher being influential in there. (just my opinion) I feel for Connelly because you can see he wants to win but, It is all about decisions at the correct time and as a centre half winning at least more than 50/50. I am not convinced he can do this. Butchers long balls started with a heads up look and a decent delivery, unlike a huge punt. Maybe I'm being picky but, its Reynolds, Butcher , Watson for me.

Did you watch Watson at centre back against East Fife? Brutal. Connelly is a far far better player than him.

Did you watch the rest of the team against East Fife triple T ???

If Connelly is a "far far" better player, then we are in huge trouble at the centre back position when suspension/injuries kick in! Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike him, I was just adding my opinion regarding the transfer window and who might be leaving us and I still think we are short of one other good/steady centre back.

Watson has been murdered at right back as well, exposed by pace. Do we keep him? Do we have a choice?

Anyone that comes in now must be better than the guy holding the shirt, not just back-up players.

Still pleasing (not for them) that NC, PP, CS ,OS can't get in the team (yet) and I wouldn't "rest" Benji yet , but we now have another decent keeper waiting in the wings.

    All is pretty good

I’m just glad that Thompson’s still no in charge. He’d be looking to punt Shankland after month number one.

Agreed, this Connolly stuff is just stupid, he is not that bad for us, he was carrying an injury so probably was rushed back

    Better than Watson easily

Seen that with Sow. If anything happens to Appere I can’t think of anyone else we have that could play a similar role. I feel we may regret this.

Killie saying they want a striker. Could be great business imo to have Sow there as he’s probably a big wage

    Has Aird gone?
