Crash, few people value you more than I but have you been on the magic mushrooms again? Average annual UK deaths from flu for the last decade is 10,000. I am predicting 200,000 Covid deaths in the UK. As I never travel more than 5 miles from home why you should think I was referring to the whole world escapes me.

    Sounds a bit alarmist.

Football isn't indoors and that's where viruses spread.

Concourses are semi-indoors so you wouldn't want too many people packed in there. The East Stand concourse is quite narrow so that might be problem, have to keep the numbers down in that stand in particular.

Me alarmist. You sir are having a laugh. Interesting that you've accepted the "safe outside" nonsense.

Well those BLM protests don't seem to have caused any spikes, and they were packed in like sardines in some places.

The cold/flu i.e. virus season has always been in Winter because there's more people indoors.

Large outside gatherings of 'younger' people (including BLM protests, beach parties....etc) along with their refusal to wear face coverings is certainly seen as one reason behind the exponential growth in cases here in the US.

After Boris has said fans will probably be allowed back into stadia in October it makes you wonder if anyone's talking to each other.
The football authorities are suggesting a mid September restart but fans might have to miss the first two weeks.
Disappointing if you,re a Manu fan but devastating if you are the owner of Accrington Stanley or Macclesfield.
Potentially reducing the transfer budget if you are Tony Stewart

For the sake of two / three weeks surely there has to be a compromise so the two dates will align

I'm guessing it will start at about 20% capacity. NASCAR allowed 30,000 fans into an event this week but in a stadium that usually accommodates 150,000. The fall out of any increase in infection rates won't be seen for a couple of weeks.

I'm sure you are correct Cam but surely the 20% or whatever should be at the first game
