I'm currently 55/55 but had my streak broken at 53 when I missed Sunday. I actually started at 11:50pm but Wordle did something really strange when I was still pondering over midnight. It changed from basing my initial guess on Sunday's word to Monday's word right in front of my eyes. After the 1st guess I had 2y and as midnight came the screen updated to 1g+1y - quite bizarre as I thought it would let me continue working on Sunday's word. My average is 3.5.

The system does seem a bit cantankerous. I somehow lost my first ten or so games and had to start again. Which is a shame because I had the usual beginners luck.
