That was a brilliant effort in the second innings, but what happened in the first? The batting conditions were as good as we'll get all season, but we managed a pathetic 155.

My Father went down Trent Bridge today as he's a member and he said it was the best rearguard action from Notts he's ever seen and he's been going since the late 70's.

Unfortunately it set the tone for another woeful batting performance. Hales is living on his reputation, every decent innings is followed by two or three failures. The awful start put pressure on the rest, and Notts usually buckle under pressure. Originally Posted by CamPie

Today has to go down as one of the most gutless and inept batting performances in Notts history.
The whole team should hang their heads in shame, they were a total disgrace.
