You would have to ask the Government why they decided to allow the stockpile to be depleted if the threat level was so high. Apparantly, we actually had zero stock of some v1tal items. Doesn't sound like good emergency planning to me.

It's a bit vague saying 'ask the Government' 59, what do you mean by 'the government', just who do you ask ? Maybe I can help, why not ask the government department responsible, this is what PHE say they are responsible for on their own website,

If our numpties in the Cabinet Office led by our dreadfully reclusive Prime Minister are “listening” to science, why had that science led our government to be desperately short of PPE and testing equipment?

If those same numpties in the Cabinet Office are “listening” to science, why does the UK now have the highest death rate in Europe?

They are not “listening to science” they are playing an elaborate and dangerous game of pin the tail on the donkey and hoping to hit something that resembles a “plan”.

With all these experts around in the media, on social media and just walking around on the streets I have to ask just how all this has happened.
Never mind, no doubt all these experts that are walkng around will be recruited to ensure that nothing ever happens in the future so that those of us, who admit to knowing absolutely nothing, can get on with life, safe in the knowledge that everything is under control and there will never be any more viruses, wars, conflict of any kind because the experts are looking after things.

I am not talking about the experts, I am talking about all those other "experts" who pontificate at will even though they haven't the slightest idea what is going on nor do they know just who or what is behind all this.
Opinions are fine, such as yours above, however, some of these others are just ramming stuff down peoples' throats even though they know absolutely nothing. Never mind, I suppose that they give me a laugh which is what life is all about.
