If we finally have an election then even if a Brexit majority is achieved then the rich elite will just go to the court and have the result annulled.

    Democracy is over.

Corbyn is screwed too if he's elected, if he tries to soak the rich they'll go to court to stop him.

I'm no legal eagle and I'm sure my new buddy will help me out on this but I don t think that the Supreme court is likely to be used in your average day to day disputes as Gfire and Biglad are thinking...

    That's right Rolykins.

We have a principle in English Law called the legislative supremacy of Parliament. If a Corbyn dominated Parliament passed laws that trashed the UK economy (which, of course, it would), the courts would have no power to stop them

In strict constitutional law terms, Parliament is actually the highest court in the land.

Biggie and gf are getting a bit hysterical.

The" Blair created" Supreme Court have made their political statement on the outcome today by reversing the decision made by the High court judges. This has a very nasty smell and it is amazing how the multi millionaire Miller can have the influence that she has had.She has used the courts to get her way of trying to derail Brexit. It will backfire.

Lets just see what happens next and when the shoe is on the other foot I will piss myself laughing.

You guys just really dont get what has happened and it is laughable that you think you have won some great victory but all you have done is given the rich and corrupt the keys to the country and your celebrating it. Pitiful!
