In deference to the great man you mean?

By the way you also share this date with the day of the Pedro's Notts debut! The real one I mean not the NCM one

The only thing laughable is your delusional support for Ardley, i know you will have to admit this in the end, but the damage he will cause to Notts County in the long term( Cementing us for 5 years or more in the National League ) , will not be worth it ...

Oh look the broken record has reappeared making assumptions.

It's not hiding behind the owners they are indeed the ones that matter. If they aren't sacking Ardley purely for compensation / financial reasons can you honestly blame them?

You are right changing managers now could result in us being promoted to L2 if we got the right appointment and a bit of luck, it also it very well may not. We just don't know, not even you DavyFacts can speak with any authority on that score.

One thing we do know is when we changed from Nolan to Kewell and then from Kewell to Ardley it didn't work. We got relegated. Hiring and firing so many in one season resulted in relegation. It's in the history books sadly, they are facts.

Btw none of those actions I demanded or even considered tbh. They were the sole actions of Alan Hardy's, all of them. Now we all know you incredibly don't blame the guy who prematurely sacked your beloved Kev, or the guy who appointed and sacked Harry at considerable expense, and then handpicked and appointed your nemesis Neal who you think is the worst manager in Notts' history ever.

Seriously how do you not blame the guy who took those actions?

My delusional support goes as far as if he doesn't get promoted this season he leaves the club. Do you consider it delusional because I didn't want him sacked last season for finishing 3rd and reaching the play off final?

My support is for the owners and theit very welcome decision to take a less trigger happy and more sustainable approach to running a football club. Ardley has been given a proper chance now if he fails then thanks but bye. Not many managers are giving a proper chance and there in lies the problem.

I don't expect you to understand the financial side of hiring and firing so many management teams so regularly. Why should you consider that as merely a fan it's not our money after all.

    I know what you mean.

Those posters who only ever seem to post about one thing are pretty dull.

The writing was on the wall, Ardleys first 12 games were worse than Fullartons,

Ardley has had a proper chance, for now his 3rd season, backed heavily by both chairman - how many chances does he get? Give him 10 seasons, he might just do it eventually - but then given his tactics never change, poor defense, negative tactics - its debatable

Stop trying to blame Alan Hardy, for Ardleys shockingly poor management skills when he relegated us

As for finishing 3rd , the music stopped in what , i believe that was our highest all season, which in my opinion would not have been retained . Either way their are no prises for 3rd position only 1st , do you understand that ??? £rd position is no better than 21st if you do not go up ? ?

I do understand the financial side, thats why Ardley is still here, the owners brought the club as a national league club, so if we remain in this league the owners are evens, but we as supporters expect so much more

1 . Some hope for more
    2 . Some expect more
    3 . Some demand more

That's why we differ in opinions.

    Which do you fall into?

    I'd say I am about 1.5
