I'm not. I thought you were saying they should give us the inside line and comment on the rumours and speculation, just to satisfy our curiosity. They can't, and shouldn't, say anything until there is something concrete to say.

There should be a carefully choreographed sequence of announcements - us announcing he has left, w are sorry to see him go and all efforts are now on finding a replacement etc etc, then shortly after Swansea should announce that, surprise surprise, he is joining them with photos etc etc. Until that happens there is nothing that anybody should be saying. It's tough, but that is how it should work.

Luke has never said “I want to leave Notts” - he was approached by Swansea who have offered him a salary probably somewhere in the region of £1m a year, why would he not consider it?. If you had a job that whilst you enjoy it you were offered that kind of salary to move, would you not consider it?. Good luck to the guy, it if did fall through then great, a bonus for us.

Rumour is that it would have been £2m a year if he had any expertise in organising a defence. Blimey - the goals against record says everything about his ability in that regard

If he didn't want to leave Notts, he wouldn't be leaving that's usually how it works. If he wanted to stay, he could have turned them down. I don't hold it against him, good luck to him. Nobody is bigger than the club, and i have no doubts the owners will replace him well.

If they asked the bros to talk to him, would you not go out of curiosity & to improve your techniques for the next interview? My wife has just done 2 for the experience side of it.

Strange isn't it. To get that Swansea would have to pay him 20k+ a week. No way is he on that surely...

All I can say is, it's not gone as smoothly as some have suggested. 3 days in should tell you something. I doubt very much that he met the players yesterday as they turned up for training & took the session. What Owner would allow that if a deal wasn't agreed?

The average salary for championship managers is around £1m ! - if he was paid less, he would be earning less than some of the players.
