A stuttering win against a very limited Derbyshire side, but still a win.

    The table is looking better.

I hope the finger injury that Moores picked up is serious enough to rule him out of the rest of the competition, as Clarke was streets ahead of him when he donned the gloves. I still rate Moores as a T20 batsman thouhg, always chips in with something and can be explosive

Yes, when he was out we missed him as a batter - strangely.

Fantastic rearguard action from Notts, only really Montgomery who didn't contribute. Joe Clarke, finally shows his class and staying power, not easy in the energy sapping conditions. Well done Notts.

That was a brilliant effort in the second innings, but what happened in the first? The batting conditions were as good as we'll get all season, but we managed a pathetic 155.

Joe Clarke has never been one of my favourite players because he usually fails when the chips are down, but not today. He singlehandedly earned us the draw, and to bat for close on 9 hours in that heat was an epic effort. One of those draws that seems like a win!

My Father went down Trent Bridge today as he's a member and he said it was the best rearguard action from Notts he's ever seen and he's been going since the late 70's.

Well EP I'm pleasantly surprised Notts somehow rescued a draw from this one. Great fightback.

Just logged on to Worcs CCC YouTube to watch live stream of T20 and Hales out 1st ball (2nd ball of the match) - can only get better from here?

Unfortunately it set the tone for another woeful batting performance. Hales is living on his reputation, every decent innings is followed by two or three failures. The awful start put pressure on the rest, and Notts usually buckle under pressure.

It will take a spectacular bowling performance to rescue this one.

And without 2 dropped catches in the last over it would have been even worse.
