Benji, Edwards, Fuchs and Shankland could be the spine of the team to be built around. But.... I fear after last seasons performances Benji will go while we can get reasonable money for him. Shanks may not be worth the 3 million he was a year ago
but I still think there will be a few offers going on the table. Edwards might re-join MM again, and I think he is from that area-ish. And there were rumours of teams looking at Fuchs after just two games. If we hold on to all four of them I will be amazed.
It's time now to get the new guy in and announce who it is and take any flack coming. He will get support (to start with) but this needs done soon. Pre-season work needs to be started asap.
