The broader point being irrespective of the merits or otherwise of what is being posted it?s a football forum - your posts now probably amount to a small novel and clearly there is not going to be agreement with some of those with whom you disagree.

You clearly have strong views as do others and never the Twain will meet. Spouting off and then calling out people who disagree isn?t that appropriate in this sort of forum.

Go join Reddit or Insta or X or something on threads about the topic.

Ok, so firstly, I made it very clear when I started the thread that despite this being a football FORUM, I was starting a NON-FOOTBALL related thread, and this isn't the first time i have told you so.

Secondly, and for reasons that really do escape me, I am struck by how often you feel motivated to respond in the part of others who post here. Do Rich, Oranje White or itgers need or invite your intervention on their behalf?

Thirdly, and perhaps most significantly, it would appear that as I suspected when I started the thread, and of the greatest disappointment to someone like myself who holds the USA in the highest esteem in so many levels both personal and general, I see in the responses of those like Spaldy and others a skewed, misguided, ill-informed, isolationist, insular, backward-looking and ultimately delusional view of the world, in and outside of the borders of the USA.

And "calling out people who disagree...", i.e debate, isn't "appropriate"?????? Isn't that specifically what a forum (of any sort and on any subject), for?

LOL 71 pages says otherwise. Again it's not meant to be a football topic and nothing wrong with bringing the worlds problem here. No one forces anyone to read or post. I find it intriguing on others thoughts and mainly most have the same feelings about things.
On brighter news Trump now want's to get rid of Daylight saving which is another garbage idea some idiot thought off. I even missed a match beacause the time change ffs. Leave time to int's nature.

Sorry, but daylight saving was of value, but no longer. It helped farming communities to stay productive by extending the working day during periods of the year when artificial lighting wasn't easily available. Clearly those times have long since gone so (for probably the only time) I agree that it no longer serves any purpose and should be scrapped. If the chimp can focus on similarly important issues maybe the adults can get back to some semblance of responsible government.

Your 3 main cities are just about gone white english people are the minority. You have an idiotic leader that's more concerned about ukraine than the damage his doing.
You have muslims running local governments in fact last count about 11 big cities including Yorkshire are run by them.
I look at today and Anzac day and say what was the point they fought so hard only to see the idiots running our countries destroy what they fought for.
Anyway like I said that's fix our own countries first. For me Greece is gone and Australia is well on the way.

I'm with you in pondering what those who made the ultimate sacrifice would think of the world today and was it worth it. I also think I know the answer.

Partly why I really do hate the chimp in the White House now.
