Know that well GP. One company I worked at, I was Shop Steward. One of the Office Managers was a well known spreader of anything and everything he heard. We used that knowledge to our advantage on several occasions.

The problem I think is possibly that we have moved from parliamentary dodginess being confined to a small minority eg, John Profumo, Jeremy Thorpe, Cyril Smith…to a perceived normalisation of bad behaviour amongst the ‘elite’ from Blair’s lies to Boris’ bus, ‘oven ready’ Brexit, virtually all Trump’s behaviour, ‘party gate’, Hancock’s dodgy dealings, Covid ‘racketeers’, Farage’s misleading poster, the Post Office debacle etc etc.
I don’t know if this is because more things are exposed now, possibly because of the influence of social media, or whether we’ve just reached a state of moral vacuum where anything goes…tell whatever lies you like, someone will believe them if they’re repeated often enough.
Needs correcting, The bus- is actually wrong, as double that amount on the side of it, has been spent since.
The poster? Misleading how? Only thing I'd give you is timing, He was/is correct about that flood pouring into Europe and was/is correct saying it would end up here as well.

Wow! There's really an extra £350M a week being spent on the NHS? I didn't know that. That's £18200000000 a year extra, ooh, sorry, you said double so that's £36,400,000,000 a year EXTRA on the NHS... on top of what was being spent, annually, 8 years ago. Maybe the Blue Tories aren't that bad after all...

Knowing whowould keep a confidence and who wouldn't was an essential part of the manger's toolkit when I was in industry, myself being one of the former, so discrete there was some stuff I didn't tell mysef

I think MA has dealt with your first point perfectly and if you don’t remember the anger that poster created in relation to the Brexit campaign, from the late Jo Cox to Boris Johnson…and even making Michael Gove ‘shudder’, then you have a very selective memory. To use a poster of Syrian refugees in that way was described at the time as the ‘politics of the gutter’. My view hasn’t changed.

Ah your so naïve Thicky! The figure quoted includes inflation and the expenditure on PPE etc. during the pandemic, so even if one counted that as additional NHS expenditure in the context of the lies that was written on the bus. Is it not the case that the government has written off around £10 billion of that expenditure because the PPE was unusable?

OH Farage was right about the "flood" pouring into Europe was he, mm well yes there has been significant migration into the EU, calling it a flood depends upon ones point of view I guess, if your a failed politician wanting to whip up images in the minds of the dim, then using words like flood is what you would do.

Its quite clear when questioned on points of fact and the actions he would take or indeed any policies for addressing the issues he rants about, Farage is lacking answers, he has no plan, he has no vision, he is just a self serving grifter, funded by the elite conning the gullible.

One would ahve to be very thick to vote Reform, it seems there maybe a couple of million very thick people in the UK, excepting you of course Thicky, your reputation for logical thought and an ability to see through the bull**** is well known.

Now we ahve the latest in vacuous rich people seeking attention in Holly Valence!! Jeez what an empty headed twa@t!

If only they was ALL SYRIAN REFUGEES. Been proven to be fact that they were not. Once Merkel sent that invite out, the flood started. You keep soothing yourself that it was a column of humanity. Have another look at it with your bleeding heart and tell me how many women and kids you can spot.

Oh you have to love the abuse, you try to gain an upper hand, Just make you look a bigger bell end than you really are.
I think it's well past a couple of million sunshine. The Tories have dropped below, (STILL AWAITING THAT APOLOGY) and they are out gunning the Libs/Dims/Greenbots/SNaziP

You keep denying as much as you like. EUROPE has shifted balance, with planks like you ruining it. The same is now happening here. The silent majority aren't having it anymore. Perhaps, you need to get on the streets more with a mate, hurling milkshakes and cement. Its about your level.

I have to ask, are you working class? This should be fun.

    Choose you words carefully.

The bus "suggested" WE SPEND THAT THE £350 MILLION on the NHs instead. In actually fact, it has now risen to over "750 Million a week
Between 12-16% of GDP. Still comes out as worse performing than France, even though they spend the same. The usual mess of money wastage and bad management make it the **** show it is.

The bus was telling folks, ( rather stupidly I might add) that EU money was for vanity projects abroad in the newer members, at the main 3 givers expense.

2019 UK is funding the new infrastructure of 15 EU countries, in a massive EU wealth transfer scheme
This will continue, under Mrs May’s surrender treaty. Remain MPs and campaigners are fond of talking about the ‘EU money’ which is received for projects in the UK. Well, here’s a £54 BILLION EU fund which British taxpayers pay into, but from which the UK receives absolutely nothing back.
