    I didn't make the pre-season friendly.
It was pretty easy to get to for our last meeting and the atmosphere was pretty good as we thumped them 5-0.

In terms of moving forward as a club, that's arguable.
In their first season moving, they won the old first division and then spent the next 5 years in the SPL.
Following relegation they have regularly placed 2nd or 3rd.
Its a tough division to get out of. What do you expect of Falkirk? To win the Europa league
Went to Brockville.......ehm, Gayfield for our match, not the team they were and we were in 2nd gear........regardless, I genuinely enjoyed going to Falkirk for a laugh/banter and over the years(not recently though) they have provided us with some decent sorts.......anyway, these new out of town stadiums are the way forward.......f@ck the tradition and embrace Westhill which is beautiful with decent pubs/bookies/golf course for the dandies to arrange there Saturdays around cheering on the “once michty”

Certainly not anywhere near as good as their old ground. In their current position, it’s clear that they haven’t ‘moved forward’ & at best, you could say that the new ground has had zero impact on their place within Scottish football.

It’s good that you can’t comment too much on it though, yet still take the time to comment & post pics.
Are you biting, even though I'm not fishing?

I can't comment as a Falkirk fan, as I'm not one.
Forget that you're an encyclopedia of knowledge on away fans though.

Dumbarton (naturally), Falrkirk (now) and of course the great unwashed.

I know a few falkirks fan (I'm from out that way but thankfully not Falkirk itself) and they hate it. So do Stirling Albion fans hate their ground compared to the old one.

You shouldn't see it as a dig, just something to consider. It'll help you work out what's objective and what's subjective.

I spoke to a few older Binos when I was at Berwick a few weeks ago. Before they game they were telling me how great Shielfield was then their old ground popped up. They were pining for Annfield saying Forthbanks nae the same

It’s not fishing & it’s not biting. It’s replying to a message on a message board. That’s how they work. I’m not an expert on anything related to Scottish football (please put this in bold when you reply, it’ll be very very very funny) I can only draw on my own experience. In my experience, Falkirk as an away day is sh1t, whereas it used to be great. Their new ground by any measure you care to take, has had no impact on their place within the game & the few Falkirk fans I know, don’t like the place either.

It’s a perfectly valid example to use when talking about our proposed sh1tbox

Annfield was a pretty non descript ground other than the infamous AstroTurf. Forthbank must be one of the first retail park grounds. Absolutely souless place. Not as bad as the Falkirk Stadium though. Brockville was a great ground. Reminded me of a smaller version of Tynecastle. Dangerous place for an away fan.

One of the best atmospheres ive ever been in was the last game of the season in 94/94 at Brockville. Magic day that

I’d be amazed if any Falkirk fan misses Brockville at all...
    Kingsford springs to mind
