Didn't they cut the central belt system to concentrate on the north east? Pointless.

Nae sure if that's true as the team (which was effectively an u17 team) that played Turrah last week had a lot of weeg accents in it

It seems they moved from having 3 part time youth scouts, to having 14 full time scouts with network scouts to support.
They also leverage youth tam coaches for their recommendations for trials.

I know they refer to having missed out on Armstrong, Maloney and Gauld in the past and how their vision is to capture these players going forward

Adam Susac is the name being branded about on another forum. Who knows if it's him or not.

I've not posted anything for ages but just talking to a Croatian friend I met at the Euros last year. He reckons we can do a lot better and named 3 better alternatives, 1 of which is a free agent...
Maybe someone on here can give their opinion.

I've not posted anything for ages but just talking to a Croatian friend I met at the Euros last year. He reckons we can do a lot better and named 3 better alternatives, 1 of which is a free agent...

I don't get that though, shirely citing three players (for example) over 15yrs isn't a good enough reason. Those three players could still have signed for someone else.

You could easily add in the Shinnie Brothers as well.

I could also list some cracking youths they have on their books.

What the club needs to do more of is maximising the opportunity of young talent as opposed to letting the ones we do have, leave for a small fee i.e. Fraser, Grimmer, Taylor etc

That's why I put example I'm brackets.

It's a gamble missing out on any players from the central belt in the hope that we get all the good ones from Aberdeen.

Where's your info on them closing down the central belt?

To reiterate, it seems we have went form 3 part time youth scouts, to having 14 full time scouts with network scouts (approximately 12) to support.
This is a massive increase on what we previously had

The thing is, our scouting system / network / kids coaching etc has massively been developed differently in the last 4 years or so, but it takes time to see the benefits.
