Not an ex-Notts player signing somewhere but a nice piece on Anthony Patterson - really wish we could have kept him that whole season. When we discuss quality loan signings he really has to be up there.

He really was pushed in at the deep end and he's come out of it brilliantly. His first "professional" loan was with Notts and then was hastily recalled after Hoffman was injured. Was expecting to sit on the bench as back up to Burger when he had COVID and ended up with a heart problem which I think left Patterson as their only "senior" keeper and because he'd played for Notts, they couldn't get an emergency keeper in so had to play and now he's potentially going to be a premier league keeper next season. Wouldn't surprise me if he was a future England keeper also

He was brilliant with his feet as well as his hands.

I think if (and hopefully when) they make a return appearance at ML, both he and Archie would hopefully get a huge round of applause from everyone!

That’s Huddersfield and Burton Albion that Tamworth have beaten. Hope they get a big team in the next round.

Frank Vincent has joined Woking, who are building quite the Notts alumni, with Inih Effiong, Alan Judge, Adam Chicksen, Dion Kelly-Evans and Michael Doyle there already.
