As we enter February and we're well into the new year now let's have an update on the old IN/OUT/SHAKEITALLABOUT thread. Hopefully not long diatribes but quick updates. I have a feeling things will be pretty similar with few minds changed since the last reply on this thread in November...

I'm still an 'IN' at this point.

Since Laddo bought me those Rose coloured spectacles for Christnas I'm saying IN..!(even if they wont let me into the Ardley is GOD disciples fan club)
For me our last game sums up all we need to know..
Teaching a bottom 3 club how to play football and tearing them apart.
Creating chance after chance and denying them any attempt on goal.....
Ohhhhh.. hang on...,!!

Regarding being poached, believe you me, their would be plenty of rumours circulating. It is one thing in Football that can't be kept quiet, either for them to get a new contract or move on.
Actually mentioned him to a League player whose club was looking for a Manager, just laughed

I'm in no rush for a sacking but Ardley is now fully responsible for results. His squad, full pre-season, enviable budget for this division and enough time to analyse our failings and do something about them.
What worries me is that we've played the same way from the first friendly at Ilkeston, low intensity, regular mistakes from the defence and creating few chances. That's a fair bit wrong. Apart from the first half hour against Barnet where we were really good we've looked lethargic and without intent in every game.
The whole midfield sits deep and is short of bite, full backs don't overlap, strikers are not having a regular supply of chances created for them.
Doyle and JOB didn't have the legs when we were relegated, Reeves is a link player but the three together doesn't ever look likely to work. Our mentality is to be safe, keep possession and be happy to go backwards rather than turn the ball over. When it's going well it looks good but when it goes from controlled to plain listless and negative we give the opposition the upper hand and momentum.
I don't expect us to win on Wednesday and I'm low doubting we'll finish as high as last season playing as we are too which is pretty damning.

Ardley has been fully responsible for his results. since he arrived here, over 2 years ago.

Please, anyone, poach Arders. Save us sacking him when he fails miserably again this season. If he doesn't fail and gets us promo, extend his conny, for a month.
