Me neither. I think Asghar genuinely believes Tam is the man for the job and Ogren trusts him that much, whilst knowing absolutely hee-haw about anything Scottish football, that he's put his blind faith in Asghar once again. If we were broke we wouldn't be handing out 2 year contract extensions to guys who will probably play less than a seasons worth of games in those 2 years. I would like to add however, not being broke is different to spending our way into oblivion which I'm not convinced we aren't doing, again thanks to Ogrens blind faith in Asghar.

tbh I am far more concerned about the squad of players than the manager, im still assuming Seigrist leaves and Shankland might which would make the matter even worse. We need signings and if we dont get some decent ones we go down IMHO which i think that would have happened if MM was still here anyway. I honestly dont even think it will be close, i think without good signings we go down by some distance this season

Honestly at this stage I'll be really shocked if Shanks leaves. Sounds crazy but I think if he was away there would have been rumblings already. I also think the club would look for a fair chunk of money for him and clubs wont want to pay that for him. Whoever gets him on a free next summer are very lucky though.

Yeah I've never bought into the cheap option chat. It's more about them wanting to have a different approach to how the club is run, where the head coach can change but the style of the team and club does not. Plenty clubs around the world use this approach and a number of Bundesliga clubs operate in this way. The problem is its not really something that has been done in Scotland before as the style of the club is usually controlled by the manager.

It is a risk that might pay off or might not. We just need the season to start so we know what we are working with ASAP, I think that is where the frustration is coming from at the moment - none of us have a clue how its going to go. So people who are feeling negative about it are getting more and more fearful of what is ahead.

All it will take is for us to smash this LC group and win every game playing a decent style to watch. Yes it is all against lower league teams but TC will have that on his record. Did what Neilson and Mellon failed to do. Then we have a very tough start to the season. So if he has those LC wins behind him, the fans will be more forgiving if we don't have the most amazing start to the league campaign. We certainly have a tough first handful of games so I think we just need to hope the style of play is there that gives us hope that across the season we will make it work.

We know we have the experience in the squad to see us through the tougher games, but if TC can bring some exciting football from this group of players that will tell us he maybe has something about him that MM didn't. The reality is that in a months time we'll have a much better idea of what kind of team we have at our disposal with season, so once we have that, the chat on here can be a lot more fact driven and not just numerous different opinions clashing all over the shop.

Of course it was the cheapest option. The club went on record as saying they interviewed loads of applicants,so if that's true and and they wanted to go down this so called style of coaching do you think they only interviewed loads of Tam Courts type coaches???......no neither do I. They had him earmarked from day 1 and prolonged his announcement due to fan unrest.

I really do wish Tam Courts all the best but still maintain this job is beyond his capabilities and that getting rid of MM was a big mistake.

It was the cheapest option yes, but is that why he was given the job? I don't believe so. That's what some of us are getting at by saying he wasn't the 'cheap option'. His appointment wasn't financially motivated.

Last season we scored least goals out of every team , least shots on target and least shots on goal, our midfield could not pass water, we def need new players, and we have put it on a guy that has never been tested at a higher level, i get it if we have a team in place to try this, we certainly do not have that, i honestly think Pawlett could a new contract cause we wont be getting many players in, if we let him go we got one less player, hope i am wrong .. i really hope he does a good job, where do we go if we have a bad start, great start would be great, but poor start, and not to look at it from both sides, is asking for trouble.

Whatever happened to your 'last negative post'?

    Pawlett's already signed an extension.
