You seem to have a very healthy interest in al things DFC. Is your ancestral blood bubbling through?

Not all things, some great reading about the state of the pitch, blaming the dens rd drains then eventualy blaming the pitch maybe I should have mentioned things earlier. Now awaiting what imature name calling I will get for telling the truth.

I have never blamed the Dens Road drains for the drainage problems with the Dens Park pitch despite being ‘slaughtered’ on other Facebook forums about my posts. However the drainage problems have nothing to do with thatch as the Dens Park pitch has been relaid the past two close seasons and thatch in turf takes several years to become apparent.

It does not happen less than two months after the pitch was relaid.
The first home league game of the 2023-24 season against Motherwell FC was almost cancelled because of a waterlogged pitch with the ground staff trying to clear the puddles on the pitch at the Bob Shankly end during the game.

I see they've found a massive problem with drainage on Dens Road
