Decided to get back on twitter to see all this George Thorne hype. Look what he favourited tonight.

@dandcfc11: Transfer of @GeorgeThorne15 was always going to take time. So be patient, I believe it's happening oŸ˜*oŸ‘

If I'm wrong I'll admit my source was wrong... But I was told at the weekend it will be announced this week or a few days after!!

It is going to be down to the fee. At this moment in time, are we prepared to pay what WBA are asking? I am not sure we are.

I saw that as well and was a little worried for a bit... Carry on reading the rest of the thread. It's a wind up.

It was never going to be a quick deal with wba, they're notoriously hard to deal with.
We need to be a little more like that, although we do seem tougher now than we have in the past. Bryson is a good example.
Only because Bryson turned down Burnley to stay. If he had wanted to leave he would be playing for Burnley now.[/quote]

Not strictly true, Derby made him an offer that was attractive and handled the negotiations professionally, he considered his options and felt Derbys offer suited him for now.

But it is a measure of how far we have moved in the way we handle things, plus of course being narrowly beaten in the play off final, having a quality coach like McClaren and a will

If he's wrong then how about you reveal who your source is?

Would be interesting to know who and how he or she knows so much inside information!

Wonder what the delay could be? You'd think the club would have announced the deal by now if everything has been agreed!

Transfer fee is the delay. WBA are being ****s about the whole deal, which they have every right to be after sending a hot prospect to us to get fit, and then he hands in two transfer requests.
