    Just occasionally comes a strange co-incidence. Skates are debt free and the the tax gap between tax owed and received is the biggest since ... yep 2009.

    You mean legacy debt free ? As in those particular debts that were covered in full by the final tranche of parachute payments which got trousered for a few months, purely to give them time to re-re-negotiate the deals that had already been negotiated (and re-negotiated) in (cough) good faith ?

    As much as they celebrate their achievement, I wonder how many local businesses are queuing up to repair that sh!thole of the ground. Apparently the last strong blast of wind made more of the ground uninhabitable.

    Errr, I'm guessing that will be none.

    Has the scheme which saw people exploited and forced to work for nothing at krap nottarf now been stopped or are they still targeting societies most vulnerable within the PO postcode?
