We were, and the weeks before. That's why it was a very nice suprise to see a good performance 2nd half. No one has critised that.

Seems to be a bit of point scoring rather than discussion going on. Or are those of us that stand and sit in the dark and the cold not allowed to call it as we see it? If that's the case I'll go out on Monday and buy some lovely rose tinted specticals.

Great 2nd half today. As Howie says, do that for a whole game and we're cooking on gas[/quote]

Sh1t, just noticed I quoted the wrong part, from the wrong post fot what I thought I was resonding too. It may be all this smackaine I'm injesting that's causing confusion. I might cut down, soon, maybe

There seems to be a lot more heat than light - both on this thread, and Dan's "not just about results" topic.

    The different points:
    1) Rovers have generally not been playing good football.
    2) Inconsistency seems to be the of the Championship game.
    3) It's all about results.
    4) It's not all about results.
    5) It either is or isn't all about league position.
    6) Comparisons with better Rovers teams from the past.
    7) Comparisons with the way we were playing towards the end of last season.
    8) Comparisons with the other teams in our Division now.

It seems to be a case of mix and match according to taste!

It's funny is what it is. A week on here.
Sat away at Ipswich - poor we played rubbish and are lucky. We gained a point due to them being poor. 1 point away
Tues - we played poorly, 3 points home. Numerous posts about how poor we are. Posts about how you can't look at other sides in this division. It's not relevant to look

varney comes on because he does more for the team than rhodes when we are protecting a lead, totally understandable imo..
