Liking these guys. Makes a change posting a new album by a new band.
Stonery bluesy rock. Playing Donington. They will be watched
Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds on this afternoon... was my first ever cassette all those years ago.
Hi all. Long time viewer and occasional poster in the past (but can't for the life of me access my old account).
Been some great musical memories popping up. I was at Too Heavy 4 Half Time gig the other week, frikkin brilliant, they've still got it....but Lars's drumming is as sloppy as ever! Good balance of old and new (to me anything after Justice is new!!!!)
Bucking the trend of metal/rock today I have mostly been listening to Roaring by The Lorelei. Cracking wee album from local stalwarts and up for Aberdeen Music best album award:

Think I prefer Faces but it's great album with some magic stuff on it!
Followed that with Black Sabbath IV then Takk by Sigur Ros - quite a varied musical afternoon
New one from the Wildhearts bassman. Good proper punk rock
The new Last Shadow Puppets tune 'Bad Habits' is a belter
Pretty decent effort by this supergroup. Tracii Guns (LA Guns), Eric Brittingham (Cinderella) and Rikki Rocket (Poison)
