Very well said KerrAvon.
Indeed it is early days yet Riley but I really hope we get a win next Saturday or I think the real haters may give vent to their feelings.
We saw some of them at Barnsley last week and those same people could make the atmosphere poisonous at home matches if things don't go well.
We need to make NYS a fortress............but who's going to score the bloody goals?![]()
Very well said KerrAvon.
Just been past the NYS on a train. Looked like Tony Stewart coming out of the club offices talking to a bloke in a suit. It wasn't a player though (too old), couldn't see clearly who it was
I too think that valid points have been made by both 'sides' of the argument and no supporter of the club could help but be unhappy and worried about the start to the season, particularly in respect of the number of goals conceded.
Unfortunately, the debate has also been marked by a couple of posters who have nothing better to do in their lives than a bit of trolling (and for the avoidance of doubt, I am not for one moment suggesting that you are amongst them).
"For the avoidance of doubt" sounds a bit legal to me KerrAvon, is it from force of habit?
Being serious though, I know what you mean about some of the extreme views but, strangely enough, they do very occasionally contain valid points even if they are somewhat robustly put!
I'm afraid that making valid points is well down the list of priorities for certain posters. It's all about seeing how many bites they can get and how many feathers they can ruffle. Weird.
Back to the topic. When Best & Derbyshire left which I agreed with. Should have been replaced straight away. Bradshaw should have gone in with a proper offer to start with. Instead we let Barnsley nip in.
Now we're left with cast-offs from clubs not much better than us. Heard we're after a Czech. Hope he's got a better profile, right age than players I've heard mentioned.
