Im asking you as a fan here Alfredo, Im not asking you what Mr Wikipeedo says etc.
Without looking at the stats of course, where were Burnsley in the late 70s. Does that era bring back good or bad memories ?.
And yes of course this IS the Leeds board, but I wanted to ask a set of different questions to what we're used to seeing on here these days.

Not very good really Acido,we had a couple of good years and Jimmy Adamson said we would be the team of the seventies ,but it went all downhill after that statement ,seesawing up and down and culminating in us dropping into div 3 in the early eighties..Then things got even worse with us nearly going out of the league altogether but for beating Orient at the turf we would have dropped into the conference and probably folded.. Funny how fortunes change over the years, look at us now..

That is the great thing about football. From nothing to glory to nothing and back again with no set timeframe from when it will happen. The FA Cup may have lost some of its romance but maybe that is now found in the likes of Burnley, Swansea, Watford, West Brom (well maybe not the baggies this season) and Southampton. I remember going away to Southampton when we were both in League 1 and they were recovering from administration and points deductions.

The flew up the leagues back to the prem and have carved out a spot in the place just below the supe league within the prem. Don’t tell that Alf blove but I am chuffed for Burnley too doing it against the odds and building a squad without a sugar daddy.

shows it can be done with a sound plan, patience and persistence with a dollop of luck throw in.

Its amazing though isn't it Alf when we look back at our clubs seasons, in those days in the late 70s.
Norman Hunter decided to leave Brizzle City in 1979, and join us on our promotion push at that time. (and I know as a fan how much you like and respect our Norm lol).

Aye mate,I'm enjoying it whilst I can do..No doubt it will be Leeds turn in the future, all you can do is keep on supporting them until it happens..Leeds are sleeping Giants,it's just a question of when they will wake up and smell the success again..

I’m bumping this in another attempt to plead to everyone on here to please ignore the idiot.

Can we just agree not to respond to anything he says?

He will then disappear into the ether like the true fart he is and we may just get the board back

Yo Hopey & Marley, no need to worry, theres 3 easy points for you against Hecky's hometown team next week. Unless we can come to some sort of deal here, let us win and Hecky will be sacked, so everyones a winner.
