wasnt saying holmes is the answer rod but if were not going to play duffy in a home game weve nobody else for that spot now hes gone and yes you could have duffy holmes and woodburn in the starting line up just have em behind mcgoldrick in a 4 2 3 1 formation with fleck and evans as the 2 were really gonna have to think about our set up im afraid teams have sussed us out and set up accordingly blocking our wing backs from getting forward duffy and woodburn got to start at boro in behind goldie gives us a 3 when attacking

Oh no SOB. Everything is amazing and Clarke and Sharp will Jizz goals at Boro for fun firing in from Lundstrum and Evans killer defense splitting passes for our front 2's pace to smash home.

i honestly would play billy instead of leon sbt but we really need 2 younger strikers to come in now 1 a physical presence and the other a striker with pace know its not gonna be easy for chris but its got to happen maybe o connell will have to go to fund 3 more quality signings and if the rumour is correct he wants to go cash in on him and ask brighton for 10mill

Agree SOB,tell Brighton it's 10/12/15 mill right now. 15m to ANY prem club is like 500k to us such is their wealth. But we would have to invest every penny to get what anyone with a f u c ki ng brain can see we desperately need. Chuck Lundstram,Evans,Leaonard and Stevens in as freebies as well !!! and buy just 1 quality middy to replace them.

    Good evening Sean,

Agree with that, Lundstrum came into the side when Coutts got that horrible break at Burton, anyone with any ambition or skill would have taken that opportunity with both hands, he hasn't. After Evans's completely inept performances and particularly that one at Barnsley he shouldn't have played again. I know, I don't see them in training and I'm not a manager, but I cannot think for the life of me what L&E bring.

The pace up front is an issue, but in Wilder we trust. He can't play Fleck wide out again. I'll don the tin hat now, but as a short term solution until Coutts come back, stick Bash at the side of Fleck in the middle. Ok, Bash isn't the most skilful, but he's a big heart and never stops trying. He could actually win some headers and put a foot in, then leave the play making to Fleck and Duffy.

After Leon's performance yesterday (admittedly he didn't get a great deal of service) I think he needs a dose of the bench, captain or not.
I will be travelling to Middlesbrough of Tuesday, hopefully those midfield dynamo's won't be playing.

    Taxi for L&E.

    Goodnight Blades.

ps: Let Stevens sit on the same bench as Leon.

Don't think anybody thinks chris got it right at the weekend I certainly didn't and as for the midfielders I was in a minority last season who thought Evans was poor, posters on here were raving about him now he's as Shyte as all the rest,my point is we all seem to have jumped on the social media excess bandwagon we're either gonna be up there strolling through the play offs or battling with rovrum for the bottom spot, truth is we're somewhere in the middle which reflects our budget,so does mid table show a lack of ambition ? To some it will but as long as we improve the squad and are seen to be moving forward that will do for me,I'm pretty sure chris is well aware of all the short comings within the squad and the team the one big advantage he has over us is he works with them in the week and sees what they do and how they perform which obviously influences matchday selection, still 4 days to go in the transfer window let's see who we get and maybe lose and where we are after 10 or so games before we start losing the plot eh

Wouldn't mind seeing Bryan get a run he will bring energy to the team at least,we all agree Duffy needs to start but we also need more bite in midfield it's what chris gets paid to do so I'll let him work it out I've got other things to worry about

Good evening back to you, pleasure to engage. I agree with all you say. I genuinely think Fleck suffers from being both played out of position and alongside 2 cabbages. I would drop both L and E, preferably get rid which won't happen and play Duffy and Woodburn behind Sharp. I agree Bash could do a job in midfield as proved at the sty last season. Start Bryan in place of Stevens. Drop Baldock to RCB ( I don't think Stearman can play other than in the middle of a 3 so Egan would have to go there and I've read he can't do that) and play Freeman at RWB. Your thoughts?

Agree with most of this Sean but we still need a play maker in midfield, someone to put their foot on the ball. Evans has got something, crosses better than anyone and can shoot, occasionally. We lack the intelligent ball player who can see an opening and make the pass, TC if you like! With Coutts out the management should be all out to get one, if we are going anywhere this season. With someone in I think that the rest will fall into place, maybe.
