I only raised this because it was discussed at last Wednesday's "Fan's" Meeting. Quote--

Gally (to Goat) "What about the ground purchase ?"

Goat "The club could own the ground at some point in the future. It is still on the cards even though the six month option has elapsed--or pushed back actually."

Alan asked about the Brewery land

Goat said he didn't want to unveil his plans before they own the ground.

I think some of the land will be used for commercial activities SB , whether the income raised from that ends up in the club's bank account I couldn't say but I'm fairly confident it won't lead to the club leaving Oakwell anytime soon .

Makes absolutely no business sense to do so in my opinion .
