    Not keeping Porterfield?

Bigger club, more money, it must have been a hard decision for Porterfield to make,

Wendun, everyone's entitled to their opinion, but you really are a c*ck of the highest order.
I honestly don't know why follow the Millers, if you actually do, seriously what would make you happy ?

I imagine that your post has probably made him happy.

I didn't ask him to become owner/chairman and would not give a toss if he left tomorrow. .
To be fair to Stewart he didnt go looking for RUFC. He had no agenda to go looking to football to raise his profile like some jumped up businessmen. RUFC went to him cap in hand to request his help.

But Stewart has been his own worst enemy with past comments regarding his ambitions for the club, top budgets, wanting to shop at Harrods etc etc.
We can all dream. I heard the same comments as you but I process the information different. I read it as a guy dreaming out load rather than a statement of fact. Therefore I am prepared to cut him some slack.

People go on about TS promises but the fact of the matter is nothing is set in stone and you can’t get anywhere if you don’t aim high.

It is possible for us to get in premiership but the structure and money needs to be there unfortunately the weak link at the moment is sir Stewart he needs to be more decisive and I’m not just talking about money

    Thanks Silly.

Obviously I have already found out how bad TS was from some of the wise words on here (I thought he was actually brilliant for the club - doh!)

Only you seem to have spotted that TS is actually the weak link stopping us from getting to the premiership.
I had wondered what it was. Everything else about Rotherham United, the fanbase, size of the town etc., is obviously geared for the prem. It's clearly TS's indecision that is holding us back.

Ha ha ha Now now wrinkles you should have realised a long time ago TS is the “ weakest “ link.....

Ideally we ought to be hitting 8k season tickets in the Championship unfortunately it’s not going to happen, we’ve hit our limit.

Sota fella how’s things? There’s no good timing in life and like you say Tony’s loss of his beloved Wife and the season ending. They couldn’t have come at a worse joining.

The main thing is, f.uck football when you’ve lost your soul mate like you say. He may well indeed want to walk away then again the involvement of owning a club may indeed spur him on, who knows?

    Who’d be a Chairman?
