If you'd asked which British party would campaign for free movement of people in 1985 you'd have said that would be electoral suicide but over time things change.

You mean mayhem for the Marxist party and the traitors, they will be wiped out, Boris has played his ace.

Once upon a time there was a football club called Brexit Rovers. For years they had played in blue shirts, but some fans wanted to change to green shirts. These fans started a campaign which promised that green would lead to a much better future, and would see season ticket prices reduced by 10%. Eventually the chairman reluctantly decided to put it to a vote, and green beat blue by 52% to 48%. It took a long, long time to sort the change because a lot of fans thought that staying with blue offered more benefits. When the new green shirt was revealed it was a dull khaki green, and fans were concerned that most reports were saying that the change to green would now see season tickets cost 10% more. A lot of green shirt supporters were worried that they weren't made aware at the time that that was what they were voting for. They were told that "Green means Green" and the democratic vote had to be respected.

ps After the vote the chairman resigned because he liked blue shirts. Russell King is now the chairman of Brexit Rovers.

His ace? Do you believe that this wasn't designed with Brexit in mind but is just a normal procedure and is to push through other legislation?

In a referendum to stay or leave the EU you have to decide what leave means exactly and that's where the bickering is necessary.
However you look at it leave can never mean remain. This parliament has had ample opportunity to come up with leave options, instead it's spent its efforts trying to thwart the democratic outcome of a referendum. Totally deserve to be shut down, and when, on this issue, has Bercow been neutral?

So nothing to say on what Mr Farage said then and his completely different stance now?

    Thought not.

I don't read your posts, but if anyone's denying anything it's that this is a very weak MINORITY GOVT propped up by Irish votes.

There's 200 odd MPs who can live with no deal and 350 odd that can't. It's all bluster, Oct 31st isn't going to happen.

Of course he believes it. In any political debate, he would be outwitted by the average turnip.

Why do we want to cling to our Imperial pound? Give all power and control to Brussels, that's what they want EU wide. Which other EU country has hung on to its currency?
