Time to work on Meslier and Bielsaball - the need to pass to his left in particular can be drilled in in training (assuming training happens if no cases are reported in the club).

    Negatives:

Interrupts our brilliant run and form

To me a suspension is good for society, and won't hurt us too much either.

Much better than a long suspension or cancellation of the season imo.
This won't be two weeks, the scientific view is that we wont see a peak in terms of new cases for another month at least, and the "herd immunity" (where the virus has nowhere to go because the majority of people are already infected and/recovering), isn't likely for at least a month after that.

The approach HMG is taking is essentially trying to reduce the speed of the spread, not the spread itself, (basically accepting that containment isn't realistic, which when you think as an example, a Macdonalds touch screen order point is touched by up to 2,000 people a day, and hardly ever cleaned, isn't a daft position to take), so as to allow the NHS and others to cope with the volume. Logical and rational given the science, but leading to a longer period of restriction. I'd be surprised if we saw any games played before June (if other options dont come along and render the remaining games null and void)

Saw a suggestion the play offs might be sacrificed. Very good idea to get rid of three unnecessary weeks right there. Top three again as it should be. And we're eleven clear of fourth!

Certainly could - lawsuits all round potentially.

Absolutely WTF, June at the earliest for any restart. The only possibility that gives us any hope is that the Euros are cancelled, games restart in June, (possibly still behind closed doors), games are weekend and mid-week, so all nine are completed in 5 weeks. That would then just about give us a break until the start of the new season. They could delay the start of the next season by one week and make the 9 games window 6 weeks.

Otherwise there is no chance of this season getting finished, and I cannot see any other outcome of that than the 2019-20 season being declared null and void. Any other option is going to be challenged by at least nine teams (the relegated teams and all the teams not in the top 2 who 'might' have made it), compared to the two promoted teams who'll challenge the 'null and void' option. And that's true for every division, so multiply that by at least three.

None of the other Premier League clubs would be against Liverpool being awarded the title if no further games were to be played. Understandable given how far they are in front. Already being mentioned as one option for the other issues are...no relegation this season. Just promote the current top 2 in the Championship to make it 22 teams in each for next season. No playoffs. Now I'd certainly be happy with that!...and it has merit....but being Leeds, can you see that possibly happening??

saw somewhere, if 75% of games have been played, league standings are binding.

Which would be the exact amount we have played. 27 from 36. Not sure where you spotted that, but hope it is gospel! The relegation and playoffs still need to be sorted though. And the downside to the scenario I mentioned earlier would be that 5 clubs are relegated next year. But st least we get parachute payment situation which helps.
Anyway, jumping the gun. See what happens in a couple of weeks first.

If the league is cancelled, The FA rule book states if a team play over 75% (35 games) of its games and the season ends all points remain valid and it can’t be void.
Baggies, Leeds and Liverpool fans, enjoy your weekend.
