OT - Which of these bands have I NOT seen live?

Flatterer! But wrong. Saw them at Bardney Festival just as I was about to leave school. At Newcastle City Hall in 1973, I think, and then Roger McGuinn at a poorly attended gig in Stoke about ten years ago. Another case of how the mighty have fallen.

interesting - they played Newcastle in 1971, but surely had broken up by 1973?

Badney was Lincoln though, so at least my little grey cells were heading in the right direction

Yep, you’re right. The Newcastle gig was actually August 1974 and was the Roger McGuinn Band...but I still saw the Byrds at Bardney...James Taylor, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Tom Paxton too.
