On post #38 you have wrote,''Freedom of religion just isn't a good idea at all and if it were up to me I'd banish Christianity from the UK too''

"Never attack the religious beliefs of anyone. Make the person understand gradually with logic.

Why should one not attack the religious beliefs of others. The main idea is that those religious followers, i.e. those believers, do not use their brain to determine right from wrong when it comes to their religion. They just believe. Verily a large percentage (99% or so) were indoctrinated into that religion during their childhood. And if anyone mocks their beliefs, those followers become very frustrated and angry, and will blindly cling to their religious beliefs more fiercely. They will be more rigid in their dogmatic ways. So that defeats the purpose. In that case, the purpose in mocking that religion will not bear any fruit.

On post #19 The Orthodox Israeli journalist who infiltrated the 'quiet Jihad'
    a video :
    https://youtu.be/EOznoFtkBOg

He is an Israeli, and infiltrated as an Iman, knowing Islam and its history ,its traditions and culture, etc. In 1997, he moved to Hebron, and then to Jenin, to achieve a better grasp of the Arab culture and language. His parent came from Iraq and Kurdistan. So he was listening to Arabic at an early age. He joined various groups in Europe he went inside not as a foreigner ,'but as one of them' !
If an English person went inside one of these groups ,he would discover, 'the nice side of Islam'.

    - - - - - - - -
In my post I did not write about 'the common Muslim',that everyday man in the street ,the nice Muslim.I wrote about the Muslim Brotherhood If you read their charter (and it's aims) You will see:This not my way of describing them ,its their charter.

    • The Muslim Brotherhood’s goal is to turn the world into a theocratic empire. The Brotherhood, founded in Egypt in 1928, is a revolutionary fundamentalist movement to restore the caliphate and strict shariah (Islamist) law in Muslim lands and, ultimately, the world. Today, it has chapters in 80 countries. “It is in the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.” —Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna.

If we had a situation where these M B did start coming into Europe etc, those nice guys can not do anything, they can not stop the 'Brotherhood'.
When Arabs start leaving their lands and choose the west, why do they not choose a rich Arab country like the UAE or Saudi Arabia? They know they will be treated as 2nd class citizens plus the moment they do start preaching their aims and goals,' Muslim Brotherhood',its very quickly into prison ,or they would not see tomorrow.
But they know these countries will not accept them, the monarchies of the Gulf countries have no legal obligation toward refugees; they make no distinction between the statuses of migrants, therefore give no preferential treatment toward those with a “refugee” status and consider them as mere “residents”.
Gulf countries are already in an unstable demographic situation and are afraid to be overwhelmed by refugees.

    What has happened to us?
I am really surprised that the MP for Leicester East has not heard that Gary Lineker and many other people, including some MPs, are very willing to take these people into their own homes ---they keep saying so. How many have actually moved in with any of these charitable people?

She is critical of the Home Office etc., however, it is common knowledge that lots of Civil Servants have, or have not been working from home, and are unwilling to return to work, therefore, many things have been put on the backburner and that is the system.
There is no easy answer because there is a backlog in dealing with people who have overstayed. Charities can only do so much because they have also been badly hit with the virus meaning that they have been unable to have fund raising events.

I have many professional musician friends who have been unable to earn anything since early March and have no money coming in because many have been bypassed with the systems put in place.
Whilst I agree that this lady should not have died, there are plenty of other British citizens who are in desperate straits and nobody is helping them.

This is exactly why we should have backed a Labour Government Supersub6...

BT --as George and Ira Gershwin wrote "It Ain't Necessarily So" Not one of us can say one way or another how Labour would have reacted to the virus. They would have had the same advisers that have been in place all the time and it is quite probable that they would have gone down the same path that has been followed.

Tories have thrown immense amounts of money into the pot, however, the systems have bypassed a number of people and this could well have been the same under your hero JC, in fact, it would have been interesting because him and John McDonnell are reputed to having not spoken to each other for months.
Face facts and I have said it many times ---you can't trust any of them and we have been desperately in need of a leader for at least 30 years. It is blindingly obvious, when you have no political allegiance, that the country has been bimbling along for years and the EU are well aware of that too.

I agree, if only we had voted Labour, by now there would be no homeless people on the streets, except for the Royal Family who would have been turfed out of their Royal Palaces in order to accommodate illegal immigrants, who would be flown over the Channel by Ryanair at taxpayers expense, to obviate the need for them to row over in inflatable dinghies with shovels for paddles, everyone would have a job, the minimum wage would have been doubled, thus eradicating poverty at a stroke, coronavirus would be defeated, hospital waiting lists would be vanishingly small, possibly even non-existent, a free trade deal with the EU would have been signed, sealed and delivered and the pound would have been soaring in value as a result of the economic miracle occurring under a British Labour government.

The British people dropped a feckin great big bo11ock last December, what on earth were they thinking of.

"Italian coastguards mounted an operation on Saturday to retrieve women and children from a refugee rescue boat funded by the street artists Banksy after it became stranded in the Mediterranean Sea.

The crew of the Louise Michel claimed its appeals for assistance were being ignored by the authorities, despite the vessel carrying more than 200 people rescued from small dinghies.

One of those on board had died, according to tweets posted from the vessel's account.

But on Saturday afternoon the Italian authority announced one of its Coast Guard patrols from the island of Lampedusa had reached the stricken boat and removed 49 of the most vulnerable refugees, including 32 women and 13 children.

The Italian coast guard said it acted in response to a request from the Maltese authorities. Weather conditions were deteriorating and the situation was becoming dangerous, the coast guard said."

One person dead already, shouldn't the person funding this foolhardy venture. Mr Banksy, be prosecuted for attempted murder, or at the very least manslaughter ?

I thought Banksy was just mopping up already in peril refugee dinghies?
