In a way its not a choice is it? Wanting fairness and equality in the world should just be part of human nature don't you think? Its a shame that it has to be pointed out to some people.

By your argument about choice you could argue that you should have the choice to be a thief/ murderer/ child molester etc and of course the same argument applies: it should be part of human nature NOT to be like this.
