But you were implying America was a shiitehole, and Columbus never actually landed there.

Was the author making that implication? I’ll be sure to ask him when next we meet in that building that sells beer... I forget its name.

Maybe you can ask the author what you were implying since you posted it

I think that’s what I offered, but I can put it in single syllable grunts if it helps. Inn-it.

    Kind re-gards etc

Considering his NUJ picketing background when Aberdeen Journals went on strike, I thought he'd be anathema to you reactionaries.

It's a funny old world - yet Jenny Eclair still gets a gig.

I don’t mind people going on strike, I always enjoyed seeing them cry when the old bill beat them.

To be honest that lot look workshy so probably did aberdeen journals a favor by not turning up. Could let the proper workers get on with it !

So which of your employment benefits won by trades unions' struggles in the past 150 years are you willing to forego (may not apply in the self-declared home of western democracy and freedom)?

    - fair, negotiated wage rates?
    - reasonable hours of work?
    - weekends?
    - workplace anti-bullying and coercion measures?
    - paid overtime?
    - sickness absence cover and payment?
    - paid maternity/paternity leave?
    - safety and wellbeing at work?

Just tick all of the above, eh?
