If you are already a Mad moderator there's a board (like this one) for chat/asking/answering questions. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on an answer to my concerns about Y2K TBH I'm not sure how the Mad network is still alive as it seems the cupboard is bare when it comes to anyone caring for and feeding it.

How does one attain the dizzy heights of Mod though, Cam?

I believe each FM site has appointed administrator(s) and they are the ones who have 'the power' to grant moderation rights. At one point Frog and me were in a position that we needed to modify threads long after they had been opened and the only way for us to be able to do that was to give us moderation rights. The admins did so and then eventually moved on to pastures new leaving us holding the baby.

I'd also say, at a guess, that probably more than half on here don't actually live in Rotherham but need to feel part of a tribe and, in some ways, this is a better way of getting that feeling than being on social media. (A bit like the Cheers TV show, really - the pub where everybody knows your name...)

We are all a bit older and have a common memory of a town, and a particular Yorkshire culture, that has in many ways disappeared. MM and the people on it remind us of that and it's not a disagreeable way to spend some time.
    Great post 👏👏

That’s because Rolling Stones are a far better band.

Only on the premise that they are still officially a band. The best band ever broke up in 1970. Two brilliant bands of the 60's, a decade overrun with brilliant bands.
