Yip, Robson for me was MOTM , just REALLY wish he could do it more often, but as the last good few seasons have shown (for me at least) he ain't consistent enough. Happy to be proven wrong tho.

    Benji was solid as feck.

Generally, I think most fans under-rate the impact of a good goalkeeper in favour of outfield players.

However, all the successful Dundee United teams had very competent goalkeepers.

I think we have got a good replacement in the squad in Deniz. And that is good. Because I wont be surprised to see some EPL sides trying to sign Benji this summer.

I hope he stays. But, in the real world, I wish him all the best when he goes.

I actually thought that McNulty had a good game today. Done a lot of hard work off the ball pressing the Aberdeen defence. Again though not a lot created for him.

I'm pleased with the win as I've already said.

If you're going to give fouls for centre-halves competing, you may as well stop the game now. - Just read that quote from Jim Goodwin, change of tune from what he was saying at being awarded those pens at Tannadice!

Was having a similar conversation with a friend this morning, not sure why people think you can take short cuts with keepers, surely the relegation season highlighted the importance of having a good goalkeeper, after having had period of good keepers under Levein/Houston. I'm not convinced Deniz is a number 1 keeper though.

He has been poor recently but I thought Robson was a contender for MOTO today. Final 3rd still a worry. Shanks looked liked he was carrying the weight of missing out on Scotland call up today. Butcher and Harkes were both good today and although I thought the game passed Fuchs by in the first half. He was excellent 2nd half. Great result and craigan can get it right up him following motherwells pasting. Pleasing.

All the successful teams have a goalkeepers that can keep their team in the game. A good 'keeper is worth their weight in gold.

I don't know when Benji's contract is up, but if we could get him to sign on for a year extension it would be great business.
