Looked to me like Morris made a genuine and honest attempt to jump and win the ball rather than thuggery. His eyes were on the ball and he elevated his arms to gain leverage as all players do when they jump for a header. I feel for the Rotherham keeper if he's in a bad way. I ent sin pictures as I dont read BBS. It's unfortunate, but that's part and parcel of football. Injuries and accidents happen.

If you guess that Ismael conveys to his players to get stuck in and let keepers know they are there then how is it that we have not, as yet had a single red card under Ismael that has been upheld? We are a disciplined team, to which our disciplinary record under Ismael backs up. We're certainly not 'cheats' or 'thugs' and that, quite frankly is a very distasteful comment to say the
I'd suggest that an example of thuggery is the pre meditated Chris Morgan elbow into Iain Humes temple. Not in the same league as Morris who, as I say had his eyes on the ball.

It wa just way morgan ran i think pass to be fair wi his elbows out.morris ant meant ought but he wa surprised it stood which says it all.

Tell the Rotherham keeper with the fractured eyesocket it was just "leverage". That was a red card.

The youngsters take their example from the coach. He arrived here as a cheat. In case I haven't mentioned it Ismael was sacked by LASK for cheating on other Austrian clubs by breaking Covid rules by bringing them back earlier than allowed and playing full training sessions. No doubt the LASK players felt they had to go along with the cheating if Ismael had told them to do so. The Austrian FZ thought it serious enough to deduct LASK points.

Ask thissen how is it Barnsley have had a record number of penalties in the period since Ismael arrived? Somebody has purrit in the players heads to "go down" sticking a leg art when passing an opposition player in the area. Woodrow is nivva off his arse, Styles caught winking at team-mates after "winning" a penalty. Not for me but some excuse it with the "well they do it" argument.

I have seen players who have inflicted a broken eye socket being sent off --far from being laughable.

The big lad Dike could turn the games in your favour, he's an handful for most defenders and a decent player.

The less said about yesterday's game the better, our finishing once again was awful as per usual.
By the sounds of it our keeper has a fractured eye socket although I doubt it was intentional and certainly not malicious from Morris, he's not that type of player.
Just a little surprised the goal was allowed although I reckon goalkeepers get too much protection from referee's, on this occasion he got it wrong.
Btw no sour grapes from me, it is what it is....

Ask thi sen how many times defenders give a little tug or wrap there arms round players at set pieces and tell me wheather you think diving players get more pens than defenders who cheat and get away with it.and i no this for sure theres not a player who'd get away wi diving wi us reds fans watching i cant remember who it wa but somebody tried it for us and all us wa shouting get up you bleep bleep bleep.

Seeing it live, I was of the opinion that it was a foul but no more than that. Morris was only looking at the ball and there was no intention to hurt the keeper. However, seeing the replays, it looks to me as if the keeper was very slow to jump. Morris is in the air with his head on the ball as the keeper is still rising and effectively the keeper ends up jumping into morris's arm. So I don't see how the ref can give a foul; Morris was just quicker to react. I hope the keeper recovers well and feel sorry for Rotherham because they outplayed us (which val was fair enough to admit). I hope Rotherham stay up and it's still doable seeing yesterday's performance. Thought angus macdonald had a decent game yesterday and good to see him back playing.

Thats fairest description of it mate.well put.morris didnt use his elbow to get up there that bit wa done so maybe goal should have stood.
