Yeah he does, I guess we'll find out in due course whether the team is up to the task as well. We'll see if they turn up Tuesday night but I'm hopeful they will and still think we can have a good season if we can keep players fit.

Good post. Can't disagree with any of that. The last bit is a continual problem for a hell of a lot of managers and if you can get it right.....bingo bango you go on a great run of results.

Yes. Will no doubt come in for Mitchell. Which should hopefully mean Halifax have a bit of a job on their hands.

I think the philosophy is all wrong. The 2 scenarios that keep being mentioned are the number of teams that are promoted and the number of substitutes allowed.
I have an answer to both.
Win the league and pick the best 11 players for every match.
I think that should be the aim and is very simple.
    Anything else is an excuse.

It's soft. We need an admin animal, a beast in that office to start stapling stuff, use highlighters, correction fluid.
    Sort it Notts.
This. This is why I come here.

I haven’t lost interest as such just enthusiasm and as such I don’t currently feel inclined to pay to watch the matches.

Appreciate what IB is trying to do, I’m just not convinced we have the players to do it. We either need to get better players or IB has to change the tactics up.

I must admit if the rain had been a bit heavier Saturday morning I don't think would have bothered even though I have a season ticket. Poor excuse I know but I find I am getting bored with this passing around the defence resulting in a slow and ponderous build up.
We need another goal scorer/striker to lighten Wootons load and I would like to see Nemane and Cal on the wings running at defenders.
To say we had a lot of possession and played some nice stuff we didn't give their keeper much to do.

His best XI ought to have some spirit and an attitude of physicality, push and shove, bullying and actually forcing a win instead of just looking pretty and clean and being the nice, push-'em-and-they-collapse team that loses games.

Our reputation of having no answer to a high press is well-known among the rest of the league, pity we don't have the ability to carry it to other teams, a solitary striker and a couple of nippy wingers won't do it.

We ought to play him (Roberts) as often as possible now as I don't think he will be here for much longer. Some club with ambition and a competent manager will pounce once the flag drops. What Burchinall will do with the cash or what the bro's want to do with it will make or break our club for the rest of eternity.

I can see the bigger picture, the overall plan, and I know how it should work.

I’ve just not seen anything to make me think it will get us back to the Football League.
