As is Scotland rugby team
A wee update on my trip to Berwick, mask wearing pretty much fully observed in shops, i was in a Indian restaurant and it was 50/50 when people were coming in before getting seated etc.
Hotel had signs saying mask wearing was mandatory but was not observed by 90 per cent of people i saw going about their business either at breakfast or walking along hotel corridors etc.
Down in Newcastle a totally different story loads of people in shops etc maskless despite signs asking people to mask up...train station as well signs and announcemets over the tannoy asking people to mask up but very little compliance, Old Bill and station staff not interested in enforcing the rules either.
I travelled by rail from Berwick to Newcastle and back again and i would say 90 per cent of people on the train were maskless.
Good to hear, are people breaking free...hope so.
Govt published evidence today that they said showed mask wearing stops the spread of COVID in schools, fantastic interview with prof Carl hennighen on talk radio who says "the paper" shows exact opposite and of course it isn't peer reviewed
I think those who use Twitter should question the TV news presenters to obviously just read what they are told. Often on here there are factual posts that demonstrate the opposite of what these mouthpieces are saying. Lord Hawhaw lost his propaganda war because of public mockery.
These TV newsreaders would soon question their roles if they applied any critical 🤔 thinking and found themselves being ridiculed by the general public.
Point I was trying to make is that they might be very sensitive to constructive criticism of the way they do their job. They should have some idea of journalistic integrity. They might find a backbone if they were being personally ridiculed on Facebook orTwitter.
Herr Nicola told everyone that they had to show their vaccine passport to enter a nightclub and if they were attending a event where there were more than 10,000 people in attendance. We were also told that we had to be double jabbed which would stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Yet another load of nonsense.
Now Humza Yousef does not know how many people in Scottish hospitals suffering from the Covid-19 virus have the Omnicron variant because the PCR test does not differentiate between the Omnicron variant and the Delta variant.
Yet another shambles on Humza Yousef’s patch.
The symptoms for the Delta variant are far different from the Omnicron variant. The symptoms for the Omnicron variant are the same as a head cold. You would assume that the health professionals in the NHS Scotland hospitals would know when someone is admitted suffering from a head cold unless Youself and Herr Sturgeon have told them to make the number of people suffering from Covid as high as possible to let Herr Sturgeon to remain in control of everything.
Worse than that.
The news presenters particularly on BBC Scotland are told what to say by researchers who put forward their own political point of view which the BBC news presenter then tells us.
Sarah Smith the BBC Scotland political editor in early 2016 admitted that to me when I complained to her that a report that she made on the BBC Scotland news about the upgraded Port Askaig pier which was partly paid for with EU money was a lot of nonsense and factually incorrect.
Sarah Smith replied telling me that she knew nothing about the upgraded Port Askaig pier and she was told what to say by a researcher.
This researcher who was obviously pro EU did not do their homework as the report was full of mistakes including the final cost of the upgraded pier.
The researcher told Sarah Smith that the EU contributed £2.5 million out of the original total cost of the upgraded Port Askaig pier of £5.5 million.
However the final bill for the upgraded Port Askaig pier cost over £17 million and the EU contributed £2.5 million.
Port Askaig pier is owned by Argyll and Bute Council with their own civil engineering staff designing the new pier which was one disaster after another.
The link span for the Calmac ferries was put on the wrong place and even after it being moved to the supposedly correct place it is still a tight fit for the MV Finlaggan ferry.
