But that's what they charge: if you can find someone cheaper to do it, with their experience, go ahead! Read the report, you may well see charge out rates in excess of 350 for the top guys. An experienced commercial lawyer in the City can run you north of 500 an hour, and dont even think of getting a New York medmal lawyer as you'll be looking at over 1000 an hour (pounds, as well as dollars)

And if they succeed in selling the club, thus allowing it to resurrect itself in League 1 and move toward a brighter future, all for the cost of a little more than the bottom half of Jacob Butterfield, some might see it as a bargain.

Hmmm. Sounds like you’re condoning parasitic professional practice to me. I honestly expected better and I don’t think I’m being ‘selective’ either. I’ve never, touch wood, needed serious surgery either but I recognise the need for surgeons. It’s just that I know I couldn’t do what they can whereas with accountants...even on the occasions when I did have full responsibility for whole school budgets (I know you’ll gasp at that ) I managed to get the books to balance with the aid of nothing more than a secretary and a calculator. Really wasn’t that hard.

I used to help my 4 year old with Jolly Phonics, without even a secretary. He ended up being able to read very well, so I'm sure I'd make an excellent head teacher. Really wasn't that hard 😃
