We know how good these players can be - that is the frustrating fact of the matter. Given the results in this league of late they might as well toss a few coins because the form book seems to have gone AWOL...
We had the worst possible start, that seemed to drain that renewed confidence we had after the Ipswich win. From that point onwards ,a team who had not conceded many goals recently were going to defend that lead and press us to a high degree. We got bullied and on such a narrow pitch, it was easy for them to contain our wide players. We have just got to put that behind us now.Hopefully Tutu will be available on Saturday and against Oxford they will come to play an open game because they need to win to have a chance of the playoffs. That will give our wide pacey players a chance to shine with Barlaser back to supply the passes.Playing Ladapo was a waste of time, might as well play Ogbene just behind Smith.Let's have more options up front.Play like we did against Ipswich on Saturday and we can get the win we need.UTM.
I notice a few complaints about hoofball but that pitch was so bobbly and bereft of grass on the wings. This season should have been all sewn up by now it’s been downhill since Grigg got injured. I know some don’t think he is any good but smudge has gone 8 games and only 1 goal last Saturday, coincidence? I think not. We love to do things the hard way don’t we.
.
What I take from last night. Don't start with Lindsay Tutu Ladapo for remainder of the season. Know we're a defender short but Wood he's better than Mattock or Angus. Keep to 3-5-2. Edmunds Green right wing back, Chioe left. Kelly to start Saturday can't start with Ladapo or Kayode.

Well done Burton, they created a Sunday league pitch, and beat us at our own game. On clear chances, maybe 6-2 would have been a more accurate score.
The loss of Grigg and our talisman goalkeeper has rocked the boat big style. Maybe we'll pull our an Ipswich performance again, who knows? Certainly not me.
If I was an Owls fan, I'd be tempted to bet on them finishing second, as both us and MK appear to have lost the thread.
