I feel that we were mugged at the recruitment stage of Matt Targett. We did well to get what we did for him, only Sandcastle would’ve paid us that. 2mil down the drain Bong. If we're throwing away 2m, then charitable causes should be the 1st port of call. Remember, we signed these players with a remit of making a profit.

All non-international players are back for pre-season in 2 weeks, Gerrard wants all signings in for then.

    Exciting times.

Good point. I would have thought we would get 20m for him. Hes worth more than 15m. Shame really hes not as good a Digne but to good for the bench. He did well at Newcastle last season and them getting Tripper really transformed them with both players like to get forward.

Yes exciting times We are already a significantly better team with Kamara and Carlos. I think Ramsey and Mginn can get further forward with Kamara behind them and Carlos will give us a defender that can play out from the back and has a good long ball pass.
In a way i dont want Mings to go. He will be a better player next to Carlos.
Looks like were after another left back. Makes sence because Digne does miss a few games quite regularly.
I would be happy with that lad from Rangers who could cover both Mings and Digne.
Cant wait to see who else gets signed. Seems like were only after players that could win us things.

Yes good luck to Conor, he was one of the 'winning 10 on the spin' and he helped us get promoted.

Unquestionable heart, and scorer of many crucial goals, including some venomous derby strikes. He served AVFC magnificently

    Thank you, Conor.

Great pro, always the first one into the fray to support his teammates when things got heated and scored some pearlers for us - when Grealish laid that pass back to him in the playoff SF 1st leg you just knew....

Lots of talk about Archer going to Rangers in a cash plus player deal for Bassey? Sorry, but we got to keep hold if this Gem, another two goals for the U21s last night...

Agree. The manager said as much, a couple of times this last month or so. Archer will be integrated into the 1st team pre-season squad. After which a decision will be made regarding, a loan or stay, not for sale. Unless someone starts offering silly money. Really silly money.

    Big summer for the lad.

Yes I see him in the same light as Grealish when he was a promising youngster and we put him out on loan to Notts County! The premier league is not abundent with natural goal scorers, he could be the one. Of course if he does then expect a bid from the likes of City!!
