54 days have passed since they sacked the manager, and no replacement in sight. It just confirms what I said at the time, it was a knee jerk, spur of the moment decision, not anticipated, not planned for and they had no idea what to do next, which is why they said, 'Here you are Mike, you might as well have a go'.
They didn't know what they were doing 54 days ago, they don't know what they're doing now. They don't know what they're doing full stop. But I do know they're wrecking our football club.

They obviously thought that, with Mike having won 4 consecutive matches with the Under 23s just prior to getting rid of Sean, that he was the man for the job.
Most unfair mon ami, our woeful government is actually doing things, usually pointless things, often making things worse, but they do do something. Since they put Mike in charge 54 days ago, what have ALK actually done ? Nowt as far as I can see.
To be fair they are apparently negotiating another loan, so not strictly true to say they are doing nothing, maybe obtaining another loan is taking up all their time ?
Totally Agree with you Sinkov.
Base on the teams performance last season up to Dyche being sacked, the chairman should have acted more quickly in both dispensing with Dyche and having the forethought to have an immediate replacement lined up as it was more than obvious things were not going to plan.
At the start of last season I said that our only hope would be that there were three worst teams than Burnley, unfortunately there wasn't. With the signing to Collins, Cornet and Roberts I thought that Alan Pace may have been good for the club as he was looking to strengthen the team. As the season progressed it seem that the club was sleeping its way to relegation with no sign of leadership from the board of directors. Looking at the situation as it is today I would suggest the the Chairman and board have yet to wake up.
"I would suggest the the Chairman and board have yet to wake up."
This may well be true VC, but if it is, they are going to have an almighty shock when they do finally wake up. There won't be much of a football club left for them to own.
